I’m Erin
I’m so glad you are here.
Every journey has a beginning…
For me, one of the most challenging yet liberating beginnings has been embracing life in my fifties. I’ve come to realize that it’s okay to fall short of life’s expectations—new opportunities often emerge, leading me down paths I never imagined.
I created this blog as a space to share fun, whimsical, and sometimes serious discussions about aging with intention. My hope is that you’ll find inspiration here and feel a sense of connection with other women who are on a similar journey.

I’m Erin, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way to my little corner of the blogging world! I look forward to connecting with you, but first, let me share a bit about myself.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, I grew up in the heart of Generation X. After graduating from Miami University in 1989 with a B.S. in Marketing, I landed in Columbus, Ohio, where my career in pharmaceuticals began. It’s also where I met my husband and raised my three wonderful children: Spencer (25), Ethan (19), and Molly (17).
Like many, I’ve juggled a career, a household, and motherhood, all while battling lifelong depression and anxiety—challenges that intensified with menopause. These transition years have been difficult, and I’ve never quite felt the same. But with the support of my husband, friends, and family, I’ve navigated these years with as much grace as possible.
This journey has led me to better understand who I am and what truly matters. One of my goals is to improve as a writer, which inspired me to create this lifestyle blog. Through honest discussions, I hope to offer clarity and wisdom as we navigate menopause and middle age together, embracing life’s changes with courage and letting go of unrealistic expectations.
Simply said, it’s okay to fall short…
