I met Kathy in 2005 when I was pregnant with my middle son, Ethan.  I was invited to her very first Silpada party…she was just beginning a very successful career as an Independent Rep at the time.  We instantly became good friends. Over the past 16 years, I have bought a lot of jewelry, drank a lot of wine, and shared many laughs with her.

Kathy works for the Worthington School District as an Administrative Assistant.  In 2017, she switched over to Grace & Heart Jewelry (www.mygraceandheart.com) because Silpada was forgoing a direct sales force.  She also just started as a social marketer with Modere (www.modere.com).

Kathy enjoys spending her free time with the special man in her life, Gil, and her two beautiful daughters, Allie (27) and Erin (23). She has an abundant amount of energy & drive (both I would like to have more of 🙂 ) and a contagious enthusiasm for life.  Kathy also has a huge heart, is always smiling, loves a good glass of Chardonnay, and will forever be one of my most cherished friends.

Recently, one of her Facebook posts made me realize how Kathy truly emulates my mantra of ‘Aging with Intention’.  Here’s what she said…

EVERYTHING IS A CHOICE!

I believe that everything in life is a choice.  I have done things over the last 5 years that I never thought I could do….we are far more capable than we know! #jump #befearless

Here’s what I choose to believe:
🌀 I have enough.
🌀 Things can be scary but I can walk into it strong.
🌀 There will always be change….choose to be positive.
🌀 I can do hard things.
🌀 I can learn new skills.
🌀 I can choose to adapt.

There are always reasons to quit and there are always reasons to keep going….so just keep going!

I would love to hear about something or
someone who is inspirational in your life.
